1) I am no longer a vegetarian. Although I don't eat a ton of meat, I'm am no longer saying no to meat. I found it very hard to get all of the amino acids and other nutrients from supplements and I found myself tired quiet a bit of the time. Also, in visiting my husbands family in Kenya, not eating meat when you go to someone's house is considered very rude. They have no concept as to why someone wouldn't want to eat meat. It is a large part of their culture and I honestly didn't want to offend anyone. Also, looking at the people of Kenya, 99% of which are meat eaters, the least healthy person there is still probably doing better than most Americans that I see. So two years was a good run but I'm off the vegetarian train. I'm still a big believer in humane, GMO free, and organic foods so I don't feel guilty eating my beef burritos!
2) I no longer have a gluten allergy. Yes it is gone, cured, whatever you want to call it. I plan on making a longer series of posts as to how this all came about because it is pretty fantastic!
3) I'm obsessed with taking pictures and Instagram feeds that obsession. If I haven't put up a blog post on a particular day, I guarantee you that I've been posting away on Instagram. I have a link to my Instagram in the upper right hand corner of the blog. Show some love and follow me!
Here's a little laughter for the rest of your day!
