Rule with Your Heart

Whew....this week has been a whirlwind! I am super excited to tell you about Ellie who blogs on Musing Momma. I adore her blog and today she did a spotlight on my family and I. Guess what I'm going to say...? You should check it out! I hope you are getting a really great start on your weekends. For all of you Musing Momma readers that decided to stop by and see what The Revolution of the Stay at Home Mom is all about, welcome! Feel free to catch up on what you've missed. I'm going to leave you with a little something to get your minds thinking as we head into the weekend. As always, feel free to jump into the discussions, email me, check out my Instagram, like us on Facebook, or just sit back and lurk. Whichever you decide, I'm cool with it! As you will find I have a love for words. They inspire me and I like to share inspirational things that I find, with all of you. I do this in hopes that they will provide encouragement and inspiration to you also. I was reading yesterday and came across this:

"The purpose of life as a woman is to
ascend to the throne
and rule with heart."
- Marianne Williamson

To me, I am at my best when I have come to a place of peace and stillness within myself. It is then that I am able to rule with my heart. It is then that I am able to come to my intuition and listen to it. I am able to tune into the needs of my family and accomplish those needs with joy. I am able to find patience in otherwise ardent situations. I am able to be fully conscious and present in my day. It is in these times that I feel the most connected to my life, to my purpose and to my femininity. Take time this weekend to come to a place of stillness, even if it’s just for a moment. Take time to be alone with yourself and your thoughts. Take time to do something that is just for you, do something that feeds your soul. Find your throne and rule with your heart.
